| So, who is this Chris guy? Chris Malidore is a 24 year old illustrator based out of the great (and not so sunny) northwest. Through his interests in comic books and cartoons he formed an interest in art, copying from his favorite comic interests all day to possibly learn how to draw like his idols. Around the time that High School came around he began to realize that copying wasn't very much fun and began to explore his own characters. This was also the time that he started to get heavily into fantasy gaming - such as Dungeons and Dragons. By the end of High School he knew that art was going to be his career.... and so it began. To this day Chris is primarily self taught, which while being a good way to learn a person's own artistic habits (many of which seem to be bad habits), eventually left a bit to be desired. He's taken a handful of art classes, most primarily life drawing. The young artist allowed it to reform his abilities and drive his illustration even further away from the stylized comics he had once wanted to be a part of. Now Chris travels the path of freelance illustration, sharing his often unique visions with those who are willing to look. With a number of amazing clients behind him, Chris continues to explore his dream of being an illustrator, doing what he can artistically to the best of his current abilities - always pushing - always learning.
